What is it about integrity that is so hard for people to grasp. It’s an easy enough concept; basically living in accordance to ethics and how sound your own character is. But even as I’m sitting here trying to write about, I find myself having trouble. Integrity seems hard to find these days. People are often so swayed by others opinions that they forget they have a mind and opinions of their owns. They forget what they stand for. I’m not saying people should be honest 24/7, because let’s face it, that’s basically impossible. But you should ell yourself for who you really are. You should never change your own character just to please others, there are always going to be people that don’t like you.
Integrity isn’t a universal thing, it’s different for each person. Finding out what it means to you is the most important thing, but being able to stand by it is the hardest.
